Statement of Faith

THE HOLY TRINITY

The mystery of the Holy Trinity, namely, that the one God exists eternally in the three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and has so revealed Himself to us in the Gospel.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

The full deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, who by reason of His birth of the Virgin Mary, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, glorious ascension and triumphant reign, is the only Mediator between God and man.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

The trustworthiness of the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments as “God’s Word written,” which contain all things necessary for salvation, teach God’s will for his world, and have supreme authority for faith, life and the continuous renewal and reform of the Church.

THE GOSPEL

We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news about new life and new creation. It is the announcement that Jesus was raised from the dead and through faith in Him, our lives, our families, our community and our city will be reconciled and renewed. The Apostle Paul writes, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” God is renewing all things through Jesus Christ, and we are committed to this Gospel renewal.

THE KINGDOM

Since the kingdom is the renewal of all things under God’s loving rule, Church for All Alaska is also committed to serving its neighbors in word and deed. As the Apostle Paul states, our church is both an ambassador and servant. Therefore, we believe the gospel is good news that must be proclaimed in word while demonstrated in service. After all, the gospel is the good news of Christ’s renewal project both within us and in His world. We are committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ and seeking to love and serve Alaska.

Non-Denominational Christian Church

As a Non-Denominational Church, we value our place in a global communion of churches, our rich history of faith and practice, and a deep commitment to the authority of Scripture and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Educate

To teach both believers and nonbelievers the God-spoken word of both the old and new testaments.

Fellowship

As members of the Church, we believe in fellowship with one another and keeping fellow members accountable in a loving, honorable, and respectful way that is uplifting and is as God has commanded us to be.

Mentoring

As part of C.F.A.A. as people find themselves called into the Gospel Ministry it is our duty to mentor and guide them until they are ready to take that next step and be Ordained by the Church.

Missions and Outreach

We believe that outreach beyond the church family and walls is a necessity to grow the Kingdome of God and tell everyone the Good News of the Gospel

Ecumenical

We work together with other Christian Churches because you are always stronger together than separate.

Creed

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, And of all things visible and invisible: And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the onlybegotten Son of God; Begotten of his Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God; Begotten, not made; Being of one substance with his Father; By whom all things were made; Who for us men and our salvation came down from heaven, And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was made man; And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; And on the third day he rose again according to the scriptures: And ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father; And shall come back again, with glory, to judge both the quick and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end.

We believe in the Holy Ghost, The Lord and Giver of Life, Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; Who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified; Who spake by the Prophets. We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins: And look for the resurrection of the dead: And the Life of the world to come.
